HIGH ON FIRE have announced that they will hit the road beginning August 4th in San Diego. The tour is scheduled to conclude August 18th in Chicago with additional dates pending. Support on the tour will come from up-and-coming acts including TOTIMOSHI, BONGZILLA and HAMMERS OF MISFORTUNE.
Be prepared! HIGH ON FIRE will preview new songs from their as-yet-untitled album in preparation for entering the studio. Upon the tour's completion the band will record at Chicago's Electrical Audio Studios with engineer Steve Albini (NIRVANA, HELMET, DYSRHYTHMIA, NEUROSIS).

4Just got home from seein' those guys, my pal Chris said it would be like witnessing a new Grand Funk. I have to agree, if there's a Mark Farner for the New millennium it would be High On Fire guitarbo/singer Mike Pike. Good rhythm section too, fun stuff, esp. after being up for 21 hrs., wheeee....
