N/C, WF 3 for having some characters who I couldn't give a fuck about, thus making it slightly hard to care about finishing the book.

I have read the books, and discovered something new each time.

That gives it a Not Crap from me.

Neuromancer is a great book. I may have one or two others by WG, but its the only one that left a lasting impression.

In my opinion, Burning Chrome was good, but not as good as his full-story books. Certainly an easier read.

Count Zero seems to be the easiest intro to Gibson for most of the uninitiated.

i'd sort of pseudo-dismissed him for years or at least put off reading him, expecting kind of a watered-down Philip K. Dick, which he wasn't...i plan on reading Count Zero after Neuromancer (as it's the second part of that trilogy thingie...and yes, i have it mapped out in my very long books-to-read queue...though Neuromancer is only 16 books away...probably a bit excessive in detail, but there you go...)

as far as easy reads go that's not much of a concern of mine...often the more confused i am in the midst of a book the more i enjoy it...

I've read most of Gibson's writings, but Pattern Recognition was by far one of the top books that I read the year it came out.
