What have I got myself into?

My girlfriend has gotten me to agree to see Mika at the Metro on June 11th. What have I gotten myself into? Normally, not my kind of music, but I have to agree the the cuts I've heard of his album are way too catchy. Sounds like a cross between Queen and Yellow Submarine era Beatles.
It can't be as bad as seeing the Dave Matthews Band at Alpine Valley to keep the peace with her. I knew going into that that I would hate it.
She did agree to see Suicide when they played at Double Door, and the Stooges at the Congress, so I guess fair is fair. She wasn't so thrilled with Suicide (she liked the album I played better), but she really liked the Stooges.
What have I got myself into?

Mika - so horrid, yet so fahgnina catchy. I have had this 'Grace Kelly' stuck in my head on and off all afternoon. Maybe if you see him live you can NEVER FORGET his songs.

As I said, it's not to my usual taste. I'm looking at it as another form of torture.

I imagine May's actually proposing marriage to Mika, on the grounds that he's collecting wives with hair like his.
