Need advice on moving an AKG BX-20 Spring reverb

1
I'm moving cross country, and my home studio is getting loaded on an 18 wheeler and driven by a moving service.

I know how to prepare all other items except the AKG BX-20 Spring reverb.

I opened it today, and put stiff foam blocks on either side of the cylinder which will hopefully minimize the movement. I noticed there are 4 vertical suspension cords, should these be disconnected before transport?

Anyone have any experience transporting these? It seems to be working well now and I'd like to keep it that way.

Thanks in advance.

I do not know an answer to your specific question but here is my advice..

Make sure your stuff is going on an airlift truck and also an airlift trailer. You can have one without the other. Most moving companies use both but most trucking companies do not unless specified. I used to send electric truss, lighting gear, and bulbs cross-country and that was the only way to go. It cost more but everything arrived just as we shipped it.

Good luck.
