Sorry if I'm being a cock for starting a seperate thread for this but I thought it would be ok since there are a number of forum members involved.

Obviously we're really fucking excited to be playing with IfIHadAHiFi. There's a pretty good chance that we'll finally have our debut record available at this show too.

Aw, thanks man.

We've never played the Triple Rock before. I'm really stoked for this.

Also, The Slats are just plain kickass.

Dr. Awk, I take it you're in IfIHadAHiFi? I was in Wilke Surprise a couple years back. I think we did a Beat Kitchen show with you guys. You were possibly the best band I remember playing with.

Yes! I remember that show, and i remember liking you guys as well. That was a helluva solid lineup that night.

This is true. I haven't seen them play live yet, but we've been listening to their record a lot and it rules.

yeah, we played with them, sadly I had to miss them as I was suffering from massive-asspolisions that night, and puked right before we played and then right after we played, sadly there was no on stage vomit. I was told they rocked it

If I don't puke during and after your set, I will be disappointed.

Hey thanks. That band broke up at the end of 05, but the bass player started a new band that I'm playing bass for called Flying Over Iceland. He and I were actually just talking about you guys at our last show. It'd be fun to get something together either in Chicago or Milwaukee sometime soon.

I have never puked while we played, DrAwkward has though, and did it without missing a beat, I have shat while playing a show, we were playing at the Mr Blues Anchor Inn in Madison, in the middle of the set we played the song "Murder is For me" I got to the point where I could not take it any more, the Diareah was winning the fight, luckily I had three things on my side...

A) the song "Murder is for me" has a super long part where we just drone in C.

B) the Girls bathroom is right off the stage

C) I had a super long cable

I waited until that part of the song was on, ran into the bathroon, guitar still on my body, ran into the first stall, 1/2 pants myself, and did the job, without missing a beat, I think wiped, re-pants, washed hands and got back to rocking.

after the song I annouced what I did, after the show I had about 5 offers for beers, sadly I could take none...

this and the Slats show are the only times I have ever considered telling my band, "I am sorry I can not play this show" but bassically the Hi-Fi never cancles shows...
