been listening for a few days now and i like it a lot. my only complaint is that whatever he's using to record isn't harnessing the power which he's capable of producing. i still have his live performance burned on my brain.

anyone else heard this new release yet?

Yeah, I like this record as well.
Daniel Higgs did the recording on cassette at his home,
hence the sound quality.

I happen to like the sound, for this kind of stuff.

hmm. need a new Lungfish LP. I liked Ancestral Songs but seriously, the band man, the BAND (john belushi voice).

50 copies all with unique sleeves.

My friends and I already own 12% of the copies in existence so you lot better hurry it up.

I have one of those...it looks amazing. He wrote several random words towards the topof a white LP sleeve with different colored ball point pens.

I have to agree. Higgs does some pretty far out shit on his own but without the band power is missing. Feral Hymns is a kick ass record, but I feel they have way more in store if they record again.

I loved Ancestral Songs, but didn't enjoy Atomic Yggdrasil Tarot so much.... I think I like it more when he does "songs", if you know what I mean. Getting conservative in me old age...

Dan Higgs reportedly told a friend of mine @ a show a couple of years ago that Lungfish is over. This made me sad, as some of their records are among my favorites.
