For me it's easily "Studios 301" here in Solna, Sweden.

That live room sounds so good it's not even funny. I almost came right over the Neve console when I was recording drums there. Those ambience mics sure do handle extreme compression re-eally well.

Yeah, I know. And the image-watching thingy seems to be on the fritz.
My guess is, judging from the sound on the records you engineer, that you would definetely find that room most pleasing.

And not to kiss ass or anything, but you're definetely the reason I took the step from musician to engineer. I remember hearing At Action Park & Times Of Grace and thinking "Fucking finally! THIS is how drums are supposed to sound".
I used to use A Sun That Never Sets for drum sound reference to engineers, but they never got it even close so I just thought "Fuck it, I'll do it myself". I -of course- wasn't expecting an identical sound due to the fact of different rooms, mics, consoles, drumkits, etc, etc - I just wanted the same vibe & type of sound.
But yeah, now I finally know how to achieve the sound I want.

Anyhoo, thanks for putting out excellently (is that even a proper word?) engineered records. - And the new Shellac album is so good it's not even funny. Tour Europe and play Sweden and I will smile.

Fantasy Studios was probably, technically, the nicest. However, the have a receptionist, which = douche-factory. At least the engineer just let me run the show and got out of my way.

I've had much more fun in Mr. Toad's and New-Improved Recording, both very warehouse-y, but comfy as hell.

What, while you were recording drums? Was the console right next to your drums? If not then you've some pretty impressive distance spunking! You should forget drumming and get into the movie business...

I think he means he was doing the recording (and ejaculation) while the drummer was drumming.

Actually, I was doing both the drumming & the recording. I had set everything up and my assistant hit rec. I came into the control room to listen how it was sounding, and it was at this point that ejaculation was imminent.
