It's compilation time.

A totally unofficial collection of the EA Forum users' favourite 100 songs/recordings will be compiled in this thread. Here are the rules and criteria:

1. Each forum user makes ONE post in this thread, with up to ten songs in their post. Songs should be a top ten, numbered, with number one being the user's absolute favourite and so on. If there's a song you really want to make through to the top 100, you should put that at number one.

2. Each song choice can be accompanied by a brief explanation or description. This isn't essential. Keep it pithy.

3. There are no set criteria for choosing songs. They can be album tracks, demos, b-sides, singles, live recordings. They don't have to be bands that recorded at Electrical or that have any connection with Steve's recordings.

4. No ridiculous discussions about the voting system, who is going to press the vinyl, or who is doing the artwork will be entered into. The thread will work or it won't.

5. If a forum user posts more than once in this thread, only the first post will count.

6. Trolls and Nerbly Bear can vote, but their votes will not count toward the final top 100 songs.

7. It's just a bit of fun.

8. There will be a cut-off date for votes but I haven't decided it yet and it won't be for quite a while.

9. The layout should observe the following template:

1. Song - Band (Place where song can be found, e.g. album title; dvd)

Optional bit of writing about above choice.

2. Song - Band...etc.
