hey i wanted to share this band with you guys. they are a birmingham band who have been around for years. they have a huge cult following in birmingham. they are also a lazy bunch as far as promoting them selves is concerned. anyhow they have managed to put a myspace up. if you are into don caballero, us maple and the like you will love it...

I saw these play in Birmingham and they were beset by technical horrors and they were fucking brilliant. They were under discussion at the weekend when I noticed F.Thorr has a CBT car sticker in her rear window, and I professed perplexity that they could manage car stickers, but not a bloody record.

One of you Birmingham types need to drag an album out of this band using any necessary means.

I first saw them at the City Tavern c.1996 when they had a really razor sharp Table sound. Over the years thay have become closer to the DonCab sound. They did release a single about 7 years ago, around the time of the sticker.

If there's a record on the way you can be sure it's going to be a good one. Give me one other band who allowed a decade for their debut album to mature...

If this was at the sunflower lounge I was at that gig. It was funny and brilliant.

I think it was - with Bilge Pump and Trencher, and promoted by Thorr. I was wincing for the first ten minutes but when they got going - by gum.
