I'm buying one within the next week or so.
Who has one and how much do they rule.
Anyone have any thoughts on the 60GB v. 80GB? It sounds like there are more differences than just 20GB.

Blu-Ray is going to die a death. It's also slightly pointless without a HDTV.

I have a 360, but I hope you are wrong about the Blue-Ray. It is a better format, and the players that can handle both that and HD are getting cheaper. Let's not not Betamax again.
The 360 does have the best line of games for 08, but I am going to be hurting when the next Metal Gear comes out.

yeah, and the other crap is that its taking developers a really long time to make shit for it because its so proprietary.
the not crap is... it's powerful as shit for how much it costs, and then MGS4.

The PS3 has no games. Developers hate making games for it because it's so hard to program for and port to; therefore, the status Sony once had as the go-to system for third party developers has shifted to the Xbox 360. For instance, GTA, once a flagship Sony title, is now being released early on the Xbox 360 and with extra content options.
Blu Ray is a doomed format. Yes it is much much better, so was Beta.
The PS3 costs 600 fucking dollars.
So I voted Crap.

I will wait until Gran Turismo 5 comes out to buy one. Has anyone seen GT5? Fucking hell it looks impressive.

Why? Konami has already expressed interest in develoging Metal Gear non-exclusively due to the poor sales of the PS3.
The PS3 is probably not crap, but at this time there is no reason for me to believe that I'll ever want to buy one.

There are like 100 new games coming out between now and Christmas.
I don't care about the Blu Ray part.
I've always preferred Playstation over Xbox for games.
And yeah I'll be pissed when it goes down $200 after Christmas but fuck me have you played one? They rule.
