Don't know if this is of interest to anyone other than video music historians...
Now Explosion was possibly the first video music programming ever (in the continuous run MTV style of programming). Originated in Atlanta in 1970 and aired on Channels 36 and 17 (Ted Turner's flagship station).
It's pretty cheesy, but as an historical artifact it's kind of neat.
