After seeing them perform some new songs live and hearing their split with Unpersons I didn't think it was that different, aside from the more melodic vocals. They're still awesome = not crap.

Haven't heard the new one yet, but after the first two EPs, I can't even conceive of these guys being crap. One of my favorite bands going these days.

Rise on First and Red Sky on Second both sound like they could be on Red. I wasn't too surprised by them writing an entire album like that.
I love them. One of my favorite bands around right now. That singer is one hell of an artist, too.

my old band did a show with them, torche, and vcr.
it was a good show.
i was stunned to hear from more that one person (two) that my old band was the one they most enjoyed that night.
they are not crap. neither was i.
