They got a new album coming out next month.
According to some magazine I read the other day, that Timbaland guy produced their new record or some songs on it or something.

Duran Duran wrote some good, catchy pop songs that I still enjoy listening to once in a while. They were never brilliant songwriters or evocative lyricists to my mind, but they wrote some good, catchy pop songs. I too enjoy "Planet Earth."
I'm confused about Timbaland working with them, but also intrigued.

A couple of guys I play music with toured with Duran as an opener. They said that the singer and keyboard player were really nice guys and were alot of fun. This was before the full-blown reunion.
Warren Cuccurullo on the other hand...

I HIGHLY recommend the Night Versions album. Great extended remixes and the 12' version of rio.
