I haven't bought her last couple records, but that's on me.

What I finally decided, after Stories from the City, was that she always knows what she's doing, even if some of the rest of us can't figure it out.

For example, I noticed this from the same concert.

So if she's mining some kind of falsetto piano Emily Dickinson action right now, I figure she'll work it out eventually.

The last record was decent, I was quite surprised.

Not sure this new one will be my cup of tea. Sounds brave though.

cant hit a HR if you dont swing the bat.

I just wish she'd go back to that awesome 3 piece sound she had w/ Dry and Rid of Me. I can never tire of those 2 albums

She could remake Dance Hall ad infinitum and I'd buy all of them.

Hilarious.

Easily the best thing this woman has done, but purely for comedic reasons.

She always impresses me. A true artist. That three piece rock sound is still my favorite, but this is down right creepy and may fair well on repeated listens.

I agree with Tim, too.
