I want to preface this by declaring that I hold no animosity to the team in Flushing, despite their fans's unparalleled, blinding hate of all things Yankee.

That said, you'd think they would be able to beat a team that has a Red Sox bullpen reject as the starting pitcher and has Miguel Cairo and Kelly Stinnett back to back in the lineup. With Pedro Martinez on the mound. And they'd be able to make it 2/3ds of an inning before committing an error.

Jesus.

Go Phillies. Mets are fine too, though.

Ferrall's producer Lou does this "the mets fucking suck" thing a lot, he is a die hard mets fan.

Not being from NYC I don't understand why you would hate the Yanks as a Mets fan? its not even the same division...

People in cities with two teams in the same sport are usually a fan of one and hate the other. I work with a New York Rangers (hockey) fan and he hates the New York Islanders.

As for the Yankees, no one is ambivalent toward them. If you are not a fan, you hate them.

vockins,

i know you and i have had our differences through the years. you are a rabid yankee fan, and i am a rabid mets fan. yes, i hate everything about the "yankee universe". we've gone of that before. but i am asking you now...please, PLEASE pray for the safe passage of my Mets from regular season into postseason.

when i moved west at the beginning of this season (i guess i won't be getting that peter luger's steak anytime soon) i signed up for the mlb.tv package. for the past two weeks i haven't even used it. it has been wasted money. i come home every day and turn the game on, and they're losing. or i watch for a few minutes and they are surrendering a lead. i can't stand it. it's depressing.

if they do not make the playoffs, i think i might send jeff wilpon my credit card bill to reimburse me for the mlb.tv package i ordered to watch his team play baseball. i didn't sign up to watch them get brutally FUCKED in the ass by the washington nationals and the rest of the pathetic "junior varsity" national league.

sincerely yours,

evan

edit: since when does the word "FUCK" automatically get changed to "SPAMMED"? what kind of fucking place is this?

Same state, different cities.
