Empty Bottle Thursday

This Thursday there's a special surprise guest at the Bottle. Apparently, if they announce who the special band is, the show will immediately sell out. So, they won't say until the show starts.
Rumors so far are Interpol or Liars (they're on tour together and playing Chicago around this date). I bought a ticket. If it's Interpol, well I'll have wasted 12 bucks. If it's Liars, then all my dreams come true seeing one of my favorite bands at one of my favorite venues. If it's someone completely different... well, I hope to be pleasantly surprised. I'm perfectly happy to place my bet considering the odds.
Any of you gonna ante up?

It's ok, I actually found someone on Craigslist who had to get rid of his meet and greet tickets. I threw down almost 2 G's, but fuck it's gonna be worth it. Praise the Pax!

That would be pretty cool. I haven't been listening to anything since Fox Trot Hotel (I think they had me up to Summer Teeth), but I never did give the last two albums a listen. I would totally be into seeing Wilco at the Bottle for 12 bucks. That's a steal! But I highly doubt it's them.
The first two bands are electronic stuff. I would be leaning towards Liars on this one. I also pulled this out of my ass: What if it's Board of Canada? I would shit three times, change my pants and repeat.
