It's insane. $300K+ to achieve enlightenment? I think fucking not.

Google for it and you'll find plenty of pages dedicated to exposing it as the sham that it is rather than a religion.

Quick history: Hubbard writes self-help shite "Dianetics", gets nowhere with it, changes it a bit to add metaphysical rubbish and gets followers, attracts idiot high-profile celebrities, recruits gullible average joes with "your personality is flawed" high-pressure crap, claims that true enlightement allows for levitation etc, organisation is now very profitable and extremely secretive, and also very mean to any ex-members coming out about it being a complete crock of UTTER SHIT.
