leith organised a show for us in melbourne last friday.
I think grover's noise act played.

I know Scotty fairly well, and I know Leith and have spoken to Grover and Ev on more than a few occasions. My old band My Sister The Cop played a bunch of shows with them over the years.

They're one of my favourite Australian bands and it saddens me that they have pretty much broken up. Cockroaches is amazing.

it's a shame they kind of fizzled out what with living in different cities and all. apparently they will still do shows from time to time if they are all in town.

I like yer stuff too, and likewise on the help if you come to brisbane. everyone should check out verbs and nouns band swords. they are pretty neat.

yeah these guys are probably in my top australian bands of the last ten years, great live. i don't think they will ever officially call it a day, but it'd be great to see them play a show more regularly, maybe just once a year!

ps: that photo was taken by laurenbamford who does heaps of cool shit, she has a myspace if anyones interested, and the gig was at a squat in footscray, west of melbourne, was about to be torn down so the kids living there put on a three day music festival. awesome weekend
