Specifically when you were aged 5-10.
The video for Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was on and it always makes me feel a certain way, though I cant describe it. Reminds me of The Goonies, and ice cream and I dont know what. Also makes me feel kinda sad that I'm not 8 anymore. I think.
Anyone know what I mean?
ps, I know it's not the most masculine of songs but I think we already established in an earlier thread, much to my surprise, that I'm queer as a hairy fish.

I always go all funny when ever i hear any New Kids On The Block song come on tv or the radio. It reminds me of being in my room with my mates singing and dancing and telling each other that one day we were gonna marry one of them. I know thats pretty sad but i love it when one of their songs come on...
Also i love it whenever i hear the baywatch tune, because it reminds me of when i was young with me and my dad and my brother sitting down before dinner to watch it, im sure i was watching it for different reasons to them:)

I remember being at a friends house when I was a kid and his sisters kept rewinding the end of a new kids video just to see them walk down some stairs. About 12 times in a row.
What town are you from, Lyn?

The Pepperland Suite by George Martin always makes me feel like I'm about 9. Likewise, and for much the same reason, Ramsey Lewis' cover of "Julia" by Lennon.

The Police - Walking On The Moon
always remember my elder brothers and sister dancing around to it, i would have been 6 or so. I dug it cause it was about space, simple really.

Exactly the same for me! I'll also add:
Kate Bush - "Wuthering Heights"
Buggles - "Video Killed the Radio Star"
Art Garfunkel - "Bright Eyes"
