Hello. I'm new there.

I'm an admirer of the work that goes out from this place. I would like to listen the demos recorded by Steve to Fugazi's "In on the kill taker" album. I tryed soulseek and can´t find decent quality on audio, only bad ass mp3's (160kbps squashed material). If anyone have these songs or knows where can i find them in wav or other lossless format s/he will make me the happiest boy in spain this afternoon, or tomorrow .

The nasty sound-quality ones are the only versions available. I assume because they were hastily dubbed or maybe pre-mastering.

Steve is right, they aren't a patch on the finished record. Listen to In on the Kill-Taker instead.

I've heard the versions you speak of. "Public Witness Program" turned out alright, but if you haven't already sought these versions out, really, fan or not, don't bother. There's nothing to discover, just Fugazi sounding sluggish. I think Christgau said this once - it's kind of like watching Ryne Duren pitch without glasses. Who wants to hear a lesser version of a great album by a great band?
