I spend way too much of my valuable adult time reading the rantings of people on this forum who turn out to be nothing but snot-nosed kids. I think it all came into perspective for me during a perusal of the Alice In Chains thread. I'm no agist, but people under 30 are stupid. We're smart. I'm ten times smarter than I was at age 26..(I'm 32) So, if you're old, wise, and wrinkled...post now. Otherwise, fuck off kid.

I am a hundred times less cynical than I was in my twenties. It's settled into a fundamental 'I know what I like and I pay no mind to what I don't' type of thing. Saves a lot of wasted thought.

Alice in Chains were not a good band though. This is Hard Science Fact™, regardless of your age.

Age keeps coming up on this forum recently. I joined when I was a teenager and I am thoroughly embarrassed by most everything I posted before say, last week. I remember Tim saying something about how you will always be embarrassed about your younger self and it doesn't bother me so much any more. I guess it does bother me that people might have a mental image of me when I was nineteen, even though I am now twenty-three. I have a house, a mortgage and a career but to some I will always be "SLINT IZ GUD RITE GUYZ?" because of prior idiocy. I would like to think this does not bother me but it really does.

Slint iz gud though.
