Shellac and the Blisters aren't returning this year? The Deal sisters should be interesting.
Thanks for the heads up. I think this will be my 6th year of attendance.
Also, I saw Peter Grosz credited for writing on Colbert's book. Does he write for the Colbert Report these days?

It's really difficult to become one of Heather's myspace friends. Try it!

Relax.
Nah.
That would be time for steve to do the honorable thing.
I'll have to read some old posts and see what this improv thing is all about. Best of luck with it this year!

Great line-up.
A friend of mine was at a Tweedy gig with another buddy of mine and they both take responsibilty for disrupting the show during a woody guthrie-esque cover of "Rime of the ancient mariner". One of them was going to get some nachos for said friend and he handed the other one a packet of organic tofurella (he's vegan) just as he was about to make his way through the crowd. He refused to ask for this special request of the nacho guy and look like a complete dipshit in front of a bunch of people. They henceforth had an argument which devolved into a loud n' puerile "homo says what" exchange before Jeff stopped the show.

Angered and feeling somewhat betrayed, Jeff continued the show with really loud covers of :
Sister Havana
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=H6AFfQBxx4w
The Breeders' Cannonball
Fulks' "That Bangle Girl"
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ITxP9mmrPvE ,
and some other tunes that were possibly derived from rare 78's and long-lost Harry Smith archive material.
An end-of-night all-star "no depression"-like tweedy-approved hoe-down of all of these songs would tickle my pink, seeing as some of the creators of said aforementioned songs will be present to display their talents for the ought seven twenty-four hour improv.
An aluminum dobro with aluminum slide would fit in nicely in such a scenario,, especially for "end of radio". Enjoy. thanks.

Aw, yes! I think that I can actually make this one. Last year I was tied up with something and couldn't make it.
