obviusly you can use a microphone, but i prefer something more comfortable to use and something were i can move along freely.

Melodicas.com looks like they're selling the same piezo pickup, so I guess it's suitable for melodicas. I'm thinking about getting one myself.

Look at the Mylodica on the site. It looks amazing.

Any lapel mic should work just fine, providing it's of a decent quality.

I have one of these and it sounds just fine.

I use the big shot on my ukulele, and it's great. As a result, a friend got one for his melodica, and he likes it...though he had to use a hot glue gun to get the pickup to stick. Otherwise he's been completely happy with the result.
