There's a band in Seattle called PWRFL PWR, or something like that.

i learned that you shouldn't get clever with your band name unless you want it mispronounced.

I only ever seen this done by STNNNG and SKWM. These are two bands that are far beyond reproach. I don't see how it could possibly be crap based on either or both of these bands. if there's some other douchebag bands doing it, I don't know about it.

In a related note, we had a song called PWR. It was named aftera license plate. It was actually pronounced pwer, not power though.

I noticed Eastern Mountain Sports does this too. Their bags read Estrn Mntn Sprts. Which is lame because they didn't have the balls to drop the first letter of a word.

I was in a band, we called ourselvers PHVVK. I think changing vowels to consonants is way better than straight out dropping them.

Crap, undoubtedly.
