Everytime I listen to Fugazi's The Argument, I catch myself, somewhat uncontrollably, groovin' the bass on Full Disclosure
what gets you going?

4Any number of Colony of Watts songs make me want to play air bass.
"Wax House" by Colony of Watts is particularly able to get this rare motor running. I am not good at bass...not very good at air-bass either.

What? From the first PIL record? Are you sure? I know Laswell joined for
"Album" but i was unaware he was anywhere near that first record/single. Sounds like Wobble to me.

10The song that I would say makes me most feel like playing air bass is probably Distant Early Warning, by Rush, not because it's the greatest song or anything but because I know how to play it on bass and when it comes on, I want you and everyone else to see what a loser I am.
I had a blast at band practice a week or two ago playing air bass of sorts... our bassist was playing this new part that he wrote, and I turned off my volume and pretended to play it on my baritone, knowing it well enough to make hand movements to frets that seemed reasonable for how the part sounded. it was quite stupid, but a good time for all of us.
if i remember right, that was the same practice where somehow we ended up blundering our way through the verse riff of Suck My Kiss by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which is probably another great air bass song, though a pretty stupid song all around.
There's gotta be a good US Maple joke in here somewhere...
