Gotta be either The Flumps, Jamie and the Magic Torch or even Bod.

I think I might be more in love with those old TV theme tunes rather than the shows themselves.

But fuck, if I visit one of those TV nostalgia sites, I don't come out for hours.

When Channel 39 in Rockford, Illinois first started broadcasting in the early eighties, it was a completely independent station with no network
programming. They aired nothing but shows from the sixties;
The Rat Patrol, Man From UNCLE, The Rifleman, Rawhide, Johnny
Quest, older Tom and Jerry cartoons, Voyage To The Bottom Of
The Sea, The Courtship of Eddie's Father, Andy Griffith, Get Smart;
often several episodes in a row. Lot's of old science fiction and
horror movies. Dark Shadows...

They even had a Friday, late night, horror host.
Uncle...something. He had a plush stuffed shark, Sharky,
that he used as a makeshift ventriloquist dummy.
If anyone remembers his name, please let me know.

That's a good one, Steve V. Me too.

Wild, Wild West with Robert Conrad. One of my earliest memories is watching this with my older brother, who pretty much introduced me to everything cool about pop culture - AC/DC, James Bond, WWII movies, etc.

Barney Miller
The Herculoids
Dr. Who with Tom Baker

Oh man, that reminds me of Chiller Theater out of Green Bay, hosted by Ned The Dead. They played all sorts of terrible old horror movies, even Ed Wood stuff like Glen Or Glenda. I'm gonna take a shot in the dark and guess that those HiFi fellas were fans of Chiller Theater.

Someone brought up Winnie Cooper earlier and The Wonder Years is for me. The younger the better. She got all whiny when she got older anyway.

NewsRadio did it for me. I saw the one where Dave puts on a dress and I wanted to see how they treated Phil Hartman's 'leaving' as well. The rest was pure entertainment.

The local afternoon cartoon host ...Captain Chesapeake.

For nostalgia, triggering childhood memories or vague feelings (good ones) etc. and that I still genuinely Enjoy :
The Muppet Show still takes me back as well as Carrol Bernette, Dr. Who, Alice, Taxi, Peanuts Holiday specials, WKRP in Cincinnati.

Damn. WKRP. I wish reruns were still on somewhere. I've got 700 fucking channels and no WKRP reruns? RIP-OFF!
