Is it possible to record infrasound? If so anyone familiar with recordings that utilize it?

It seems like i have always heard of rumors about recordings that make people puke/die. -They sound like ridiculous legends, but i still like the idea of it.

It's well known that sub-bassfrequencies have a 'depressing' effect on listeners. Meaning: they tend to cause a depressing feeling....wathever that is!! Nowadays, I get depressed from most bass players i hear.

Is it possible that sub-audible frequencies/sounds (be it high or low) are being pumped out over cities and towns across the world as to provide a means of mind control or to control behavior... ie feelings/emotions etc... That would be something!!
