Serious question: I have this electronic project and I was thinking of booking time with Electrical, maybe an hour, just to record various drum sounds and then put them on a disc or whatever and then sample them later, after I got home. Has anyone ever done this before? I just want professionally recorded real drumming but I'm going to fuck with the samples later.

Not a bad idea, but I would expect to book more than an hour.

maybe you should buy the BFD kit.
