speaking of, have you seen wings of desire directed by wim wenders? there's a really good nick cave+seeds performance towards the end. not to mention is a beautiful film.

yes, but my favorite part is (and i wish there was a recording of) the scene with the woman singing "the carny."
i think it was that song.

totally don't remember her singing that. i know they played that song at the place and she was there but not her singing....looks like its gonna be a chartreuse and berlin night.

it was in some scene where she's singing along to the record.

I'm not on Netflix yet. Not sure why. I guess I don't terribly mind making the trek to the local videostore. Plus, I buy DVDs somewhat regularly so there's usually no shortage of films for me to watch.
Netflix has an impressive selection, though. Just went through my little box of DVDs here and punched random domestic titles into their search engine. They had just about everything.
Someone with a little bit of money and a fair amount of time could use Netflix to bone up on his or her film knowledge considerably. That's pretty cool!
