Hey Rod what do you think of Funkberator microphones?
Specifically the DM-30? Ever used one?

6I've never used any of those mics, although I've seem them before. I have some of the RFT DM622 mics which look similar but probably aren't the same.

7Teisco are better known for making guitars. They were branded under lots of different names. Kay, top twenty, sattelite. 60s/70/s era. Jack white uses a teisco sometimes. I have a delay unit made by teisco, its all knobs, and pretty tactile, sounds wicked.
I wouldnt be bidding 500 bucks for the mic though. Is the auction in US dollars?

9I reckon it'd be worth a bid then. Id imagine it would have a fairly dirty sound, would probably be good for saturated vocals, if the right thing came along.

10Old japan mikes (other than sony) are hit or miss. I have some that are no big names that I love but I sometimes use mikeing in the way you would use a effects box (sometimes I mike with effects boxes on the mike) for so little it is a good buy if you can afford it. I hope it has a cable as the 4 prong ones are hard to replace it may be xlr just something to check. I can't read the discription as unlike you my forign language skill are limited.
So expect it could be interesting or kind of a piece of junk. But for the price that would not be such a problem (again if you are not low on funds and willing to take a chance).
Most look like other mikes (like chinease mikes) this does not mean that they are copied from the origional - although they might be. I also own some radio shack mikes that are rebadged japanese mikes and some are good for different things. But I like useing oddball stuff.
I do have some real semi professional mikes so I can attempt a accurate recording sometimes.
