does anyone have any expierience with this machine? i just picked one up really cheap. how is it? whats a good mixer for it?

I have one and love it. Mine's just the MS-16 - not 'r'. I don't know the difference. I have a Soundcraft 200 b that's a decent mixer.

MS-16 is 1 inch. MSR-16 is half inch

I've got one and I love it. Mine (the MSR 16s) has dolby S which is a big improvement over DBX noise redux. For what it is (1/2" 16 track) it's a pretty good sounding machine.
