i gave one or more of their albums a listen but wasn't into it.

the drummers solo project however is leaps and bounds greater than whatever you are listening to right now. all my favourite stuff packed into 40 minutes. Kerble will back me on this.

Grails, i will give you another chance because of this thread...

Holy Sons are good, but I think I may prefer Grails.

I saw a Seattle prog/glam band called Grail open for Van Halen in 1978 or 79. They wore white spandex body suits and were pretty awful.

That is all.

I can't really picture you at a Van Halen show...uh...ever.

There used to be a Seattle metal band called Rail. Is that who you're thinking of?

i saw grails play once and they were pretty good! they had the misfortune of opening for boris, though, which means there was a gong sitting behind them the whole set that i was patiently waiting for them to put to use. i think that element detracts from their musical output, on the whole.

I dunno, boring Isis/Neurosis wanna be indie rock? Pretentious vapid pretty boys who think that volume swells equal dynamics?

Some if not all of them live in my town.
One of the guitarists is the stupidest bartender I've ever seen.

Total indie-rock douches.

Crap
Crappitty
weedly-weedly Craptastic.

WF ZERO!

I could see Billy Corghan making thremhis next backing band.
