If I were going to a costume party I would pick Tron so I could drink without taking off my helmet. It's why I've not been Darth Vader, Boba Fett, a Stormtrooper or Spiderman since I was a child and instead have gone with Spock, Dr. McCoy, Commander Riker, Batman, Superman and Obi Wan Kenobi.

Yes I own those costumes. I also own two phasers (OS and NG), 2 tricorders (OS and NG), 1 communicator (OS) and several Force FX Lightsabers.

That Tron costume is one of the creepiest things I have ever seen: The unmitigated nerdiness, the inept marker drawing, the guy's glasses, moustache and overall physique, and last-but-not-least, his diminutive junk hanging out in almost full-view.

I'll go with the Stormtrooper even though it's an overpriced store-bought costume, for the simple reason he's actually wearing some goddamn pants.

I would not want to have to stand next to that Tron guy at the punch-bowl or even socialize in his general vicinity.
