Hey, any help here....
Looking for a studio in the Nebraska-Illinois-Minnesota-Missouri midwest axis. Recommendations? Bonus points for those who work with tape!

Obviously I know about, and would love to record at, Electrical. May not be able to. Price isn't the object/issue here...

Semaphore in Chicago is a very nice little studio, and a great deal.

Wow, there's a lot of great looking places here. I've got a bit to chew on. Looking for a place to record some trashy punk rock. I prefer analog setups from tracking to mixdown 'cause that's what I've always done and I know what I want. I want to be able to work fast, play live as much as possible with reasonable interaction/sightlines between musicians (no more drummers locked behind closed doors!). Since we're travelling from out of state, a place with some equipment hanging around (cabs & drums in particular) would keep the trip light. Looking for a place with the same price range as Electrical. Some sort of lodging is a plus but that crap can always be worked out to some degree...

Well I've investigated the ones mentioned (and got PM'd about) and right off th bat I like the looks of Semaphore, Key Club, and Engine Studios. Anyone have good/bad experiences, deal clinchers, deal breakers with any of these places?
