Used the search function, and these two have not been pitted against each other yet. There're eight pages of AC/DC and five pages of Ramones, but they've yet to take each other on. Let the blood bath ensue.

When it comes down to it, despite the influence AC/DC had on rock music, the Ramones were a punk band and I like punk. They weren't especially political, but definitely represented the Left more (yeah I know Johnny was a Republican), represented weirdos and outcasts. AC/DC represented the Cock.

A stupid fucking car race has filled my city with Acca Dacca's core fanbase this weekend. As far as the music itself, both bands made great radio rock, but I'd give it to Ramones by a bit. Everything apart from the music - Ramones by a long way, because they're part of a culture that doesn't make me want to puke.

AC/DC are fucking geniuses and if you can't realize that then you are absolutely piss-brained, shit-fouled morons who probably jack off to Animal Collective.

That said, Ramones.

I can't vote against the Ramones' first album.

The worlds of these two bands are starting to overlap more these days, though they are still a bit apart. Go to any sporting event in the U.S. and you are as likely to hear Blitzkrieg Bop as you are Thunderstruck or Hell's Bells or whatever.

AC/DC has some good songs, and every now and again I listen to those songs, but they're just too much of a cock rock band for me to honestly enjoy them. The constant use of sleazy sexual innuendos really gets old after maybe 10 minutes.

That's actually a tough call, ACDC with Bon Scott was a great band, but I have to be loyal and give it to The Ramones.

Australia has a better ratio of good to shit bands than New York does. I understand the "importance" of the Ramones but I don't want to listen to them. I always found them commercial jingleish.
