Info on Altec 29A and 29B capsules

Trying to find info on the differences between the Altec capsules 29A and a 29B. The best info I can find googling is that the 29A was made by AKG in Austria, and the 29B was made in the US by Altec. Can anyone comment on any sonic differences b/n the two capsules, which one is preferable?
