I liked his response to Ferraro's comment the other day.......something along the lines of "i don't see how being a black man named Barack Obama is giving me any special benefit while running for Pres of the USA".
I really hope he doesn't take this bait.
I think his appeal is in the polite way he gives the bird to his haters.
He's even quoted in the article as saying something like "My pastor's like that uncle everyone has in their family that says crazy shit once in a while." Most normal people, if they really think about it, don't listen to everything their pastor says (or is every church-goer refraining from premarital sex?), but of course the mock-outrage machine is gonna love this shit.
