I've only used the DY45g. Not a fan. It was kind of midrangey.

Sorry, I don't know about the others
Maybe steve does

i think the bottom picture is the unidyne 55s made by shure.

i've sang through one at a couple coffeehouse gigs in vermont, it's warm but nothing to go ape about. most people like using them for performance only... trying to get that jeff buckley/chris issak/elvis look. the label claims "unidirectional Impedance low-30-50 ohm, med-150-250 ohm and high-high."

take care,
evan.

there was one of those at Idful during my indentured servitude period there, it sounded like a pile of shit and remained in a drawer for the duration of my time there. I think maybe Liz Phair wanted to use it once because it was 'cute' so I would imagine we would have had to humor her...thankfully I no longer do such things for a 'living'

Yes, the bottom one looks like a Shure 55. I had and sold two I had for years and years recently. They used a three pin chord connection that are staggered differently that standard XLR connections which kind of stank. When it was working with the right cable it sounded terrible. I was able to use it for nothing at all. Thus the selling... I think they call that a "video mic" nowadays, one that some doink will want to 'sing' into on their music 'video' for their 'hit' 'song'. A looker. I did get just over $100 for it on Ebay though, so I got that going for me...which is nice.

I have on of those EV 676's but haven't used it yet because of the odd connector. If you start using yours, let me know what you think so I can decide if it's worth finding an adapter for it.
