I have Roland 8 track and a Dell Inspiron laptop. I just want to get a song into mp3 form. How can I do it?

does the roland has a stereo output? use a Y cable (one side 2 1/4" mono jacks and on the other 1 1/8" stereo jack) to connect it to the laptop's line in, record the wav and then convert to mp3. You can download audacity, a simple audio editor to convert to wma or mp3.
