These guys were good. I sure miss them. The Sto Cazzo album especially kicked my ass.

Not crap. I liked them very much. My band played w/ Zzzz not to long ago, who were also excellent , in a completely different manner. But, yay sweep, they were something.

sweep put on one of the greatest shows i've ever seen.

late september of 2001...i'll never forget it.

actually, they put on a similar show that blew me away in december of 99...with Pegboy, i thinks...

anyways. alot of their recorded material (except for Stocazzo) leaves much to be desired, but man, when you saw them live, they were monsters...

except for their last show. which i thought sucked. hehe. seriously.

Steve the sax player was in a good band called Check Engine, but it exploded soon after with only one album.

I really liked STLJ. I saw them a bunch of times, never understood a word of the vocals, and absolutely didn't care at all. Great angles.

really good stuff... stocazzo being maybe the best recording (sound-wise too); although i have to say their earlier studio efforts we're solid and creative as well. amazing live band... what's not to like here? not crap.

One of the best live bands I've ever seen.
I think each record was better than the last.
RIP, STLJ.
Not crap.
