this is probably a stupid question but does anyone know if these records where done analog or digital?

1.jesus lizard-blue
2.converge-jane doe
3.big business-here come the waterworks
(smells like protools but maybe i'm just paranoid)
4.melvins-pigs of the roman empire

i'll probably add some more as time goes by... :P

Because it doesn't really make any difference to what you think of a record. I don't understand your paranoia comment, if you like the record then how it was recorded isn't relevant, if you don't like it then it's still not relevant, why would the presence of pro tools in the recording process be a worry to you? You want to remix the album in 20 years time and you're afraid the hard disk it's on might fail?

My guesses would be that 1 was probably analogue, 2 could easily be either, 3 and 4 are almost certainly digital.

I'm not crazy about any of those records so there you go.
Don't shun it. Fun it.

I agree if you like the end product who cares how it was made? I don't.
