They had many, many death threats sent their way.

So pardon my ignorance (late to the thread) what was this video?

clear cut example of a purpose for torrents...anonymous distribution.

It had a little Saudi girl of no more than 5 calling Jews pigs with a smiling mother looking on supportively. This was from Saudi State TV... it had a section of arabic primetime "Talkshows" with various Imams calling for a global Islamic revolution. The most chilling was a calm, happy looking Mahmoud Ahmadinejad saying on Iranian TV that his long-term goal is supporting a war against non-Muslims until the whole world was like Iran.

This was the watchable stuff...

Kenneth Bigley's beheading - they block about the action but leave the soundtrack of him screaming for his life and then show the removed head, I still feel ill when I think of it, this guys was an aid worker there to help..., mainstream Pakistani TV advising men to kill their mothers and sisters for adultery to defend family "honour"... A Saudi women being stoned to death in a public stadium - fucking unwatchable -. Five teenage boys being hung in Iran about a year ago for the crime of being gay. European Imams from large Mosques praising 9/11, The London bombing and Madrid, include a lot of gut-wrenching images from the Madrid trains and hundreds of bodies lined along the station platforms, over these bastards calling it God's revenge.

Generally horrible stuff.

The interesting part is the end when the film calls on moderated to rip the nasty pages from the Koran and force the extremists out of the religion.

Not really a great film, but I guess the point is to shock not just Westerns but to provoke Muslims to start engaging in some self-criticism, something that they seem to be totally incapable of...

A propaganda film with factual errors? this is going to "shock muslims" into self-criticism?

When referring to the murder of Theo van Gogh, instead of showing the murderer (Mohammed Bouyeri)'s face, a picture of the Dutch rapper Salah Edin is displayed. The picture was shot for the rapper's album 'Nederlands Grootste Nachtmerrie' (Netherlands' Worst Nightmare), which according to the singer's website, was shot to be 'exactly like the mugshot of convicted killer Mohamed B'.

so the fucking jackass that filmed this can't even tell his darkies apart? and this is supposed to be helpful and positive?
