I think Bob Weston just answered this for you.

Sort of. Maybe. After all he is an Electrical dude so he certainly has the right to use the site for the purpose of offering something for sale to fellow recording people. But I just don't want to be seen as "spamming" the board because I have a piece of gear to sell. I just don't want to get on anyone's "bad side" around here.

Smart move. Although if my request for information about Nina Nastasia's "The Blackened Air" record is any indication, no one from Electrical pays any attention. (Heh heh.)

yeah, nobody pays any attention...that's why steve has nearly 100 posts, i guess?

they're just not answering your query because there are more important things to do. or perhaps nina requested to steve not to discuss technical aspects of her material...perhaps? or perhaps the issue was never addressed, and so steve is exercising a choice of respectful reticence?
there may be a reason, but they don't have to tell you why. don't take it personally, though.

regards, jet.

So the question remains..... Is this a proper venue for the selling of equipment? I have a Studer A-67 2 track mastering deck I would love to 'list' here without the time oriented pressures of Ebay, not to mention their listing costs. Is this OK, even for us non-Bob Weston types (hi Bob)? Please let us know.

Thank you in advance...

Hi,

I couldn't find anything saying that trying to sell stuff isn't allowed. I assumed that if it was a problem, somebody at Electrical would let me know.

I'm not an Electrical employee and don't have any special rights at this here website/forum.

So, do you want to buy these 828's or what?

Hey Bob, buy my Studer A-67 2 track deck and I'll think about buying your 828's. You first!
