Quick question: Is 'salut' fake italian for the salute? The hello in french?

If you wish to indicate that something is good, you say "Salut".

And "hi" in Polish is "cześć". You can try as long as you want and you still won't be any close to pronouncing it properly.

It's pronounced chetch, no? There's possible the hint of a 'k' sound before/after the 't', maybe?

A Polish girl I met said so, but maybe she was dumbing it down for me.

I think it's chekh(like saying an H from your throat)

Just like when you say "Hanukkah" You guys are saying it Hannukah, but it's actually KHHanukkah. Kinda hard to explain it to people who don't have this consonant in their language.

'Salute' is real Italian for 'Health'
