Outstanding. There are going to be some Animal Collective comparisons, but this is a thing all its own. "Fools," off Visiter, is a wonder.

I reviewed their record for the college station and I was surprised at how much I liked it. I think it's pretty unique and the songwriting is great. I like that they don't get bogged down in the indie-folk thing and have all these weird tribal drum things going on in the songs.

There's so much shitty music out right now, indie or otherwise, and most bands I just try to ignore, but this one definitely stuck out.

In the back of my head, I thought, "Pitchfork is gonna jump on this like a $2 Hungarian whore." I was right!

I would think that Magyar Poon, venerable as it must be, would command more. Especially with the strong Euro.
