Chicago women: Where do you get your hair cut?

My girlfriend now apparently accepts this forum as the wealth of knowledge I have described it as (by way of all kinds of great advice archived here). She is too proud to admit that she respects the content of this board, evidenced by her request that I ask my other internet nerd friends where their girlfriends get their hair cut.
When I told her that there were female members of the forum she said "Well, find out where the two of them get their hair cut."
So what's good? She tried Twisted Scissors or something like that, but they don't pick up their phone. I swear to god, "indie" businesses that refuse to act like businesses are like teenagers who expect to be treated like adults while they act like teenagers.
I got lucky. I found the Belmont Barber Shop right after we moved up here. It is truly the Hot Doug's/Kuma's of men's hair cuts.

Ask to see Melissa. Your girlfriend will not be disappointed. My girlfriend, if she posted here, would suggest this.

I'm friends with a few of the stylists who charge very reasonable prices at Mario Tricoci on Michigan Ave. Haircut w/blowdry and style. She should schedule an apt. with Alina, Yesenia, or Tavia.

The PRF's own SweetDaddyPatty cuts at Tricoci on Michigan also.
I believe he goes by Pat there.

Glenn at Sine Qua Non. Famous people go to him. He's your man. He's the best.

I am not a woman. I highly recommend Michele Tucker @ Bombshell salon. 2630 N Halsted (directly across from the Guitar Center), i swear she is the greatest.

Three of the most lauded haircuts I've ever heard of were done by me, half-drunk at 3 AM. I don't know what I did, but Aveda stylists and such thought that my work was amazing.
Buy your lady a ticket to Oakland or SFO and the money for vodka. Problem solved.

Big Hair rocks! The staff is very talented, the punk vibe is nice, and the cuts are ridiculously affordable. I couldn't recommend them any more highly.

Yes, go to Glenn, too. He does wonders with hair plus he's a good friend of ours.
