Alone they are very much crap, but quite tasty in soup form. Slight waffle factor.

i like peas, frozen or canned, heated and served with butter and salt. i imagine i'd like a fresh one as well. sugar snap peas are fine in salads.

not crap.

also, a bag of frozen peas makes an outstanding ice pack for remedying injuries.

I hate peas. I hate their texture. I hate their taste. No No No peas for me.

They do good things to risotto.

I just made a pea soup the other day at work. It was simply peas, walla walla onions, and mint. The walla wallas can be substituted with vidalias. I pureed it with the fresh mint and gave it a splash of champagne vinegar for a little tartness, then strained it through a medium sieve. It was delicious. Frozen peas work great. Just throw them into the water. Don't cook them much past when they are thawed...this will turn your beautiful bright green soup into bumper car green.

A pea puree is also a great spring addition to white fish like halibut, sole, flounder, or tilapia. Especially if you incorporate almonds in there somewhere (e.g.,encrusting the fish).

Peas are delicious. I have eaten them out of a can; that's how good they are!

Snap peas, not crap.

Any other form, I can't hack it. Crap. Even as a baby, I'd spit those little fuckers out whole when momma'd feed me the mixed veggies.

Peas are quite delicious. They're not the most versatile veggie in the world, but...
