'an immoral and reprehensible piece of trash'

I'm going to call someone that today.

Fuck them guys. I'm well aware that these movies are technically pieces of shit but I've watched 'em all anyway. And I've enjoyed 'em. Fuck you two.

They failed to mention the great acting performances of Crispin Glover and Corey Feldman.

It's my favourite of the series. Crispin Glover's weird chicken dance at the party is cool. It says in the extras that was the dance he usually did in LA clubs at the time.

One of my favorite books is Half Baked: A Pot Smoker's Guide to Film and Video. It's basically a compilation of reviews of movies that are great to watch high. Except the reviews aren't reviews as often as they are the hilarious ramblings of two very stoned, very funny guys.

But in the introduction, they mention how the invited Ebert to review a movie as a "guest author" (other guest authors in the book include Ben & Jerry of ice cream fame and Donal Logue). Ebert wrote back, lamenting that spoiling the pure experience of watching a film by getting high was "wrongheaded."

I think that tells me everything I need to know about Ebert. Fuck him.

I can't believe Siskel and Ebert were able to land a career doing broadcast TV movie reviews. They both pretty much suck. Not that Friday the 13th was good, it's just painful to watch them argue, and the Ebert dude cares way too much about what is clearly shit. Move the fuck on....

I thought that link was going to go to Beyond the Valley of the Dolls, which would have made your point well enough...
