Usually when I'm bored or frustrated with my hair and I cut it, I regret it. My hair grows really slowly though so mistakes last a long time.

If you're wanting to look the part in one of those dresses then you probably shouldn't cut your hair - just get them to style it a little, maybe a wash and condition. Shave definitly though.

I was in the pub on the weekend and some coked up guy, who'd been in the bog with his mate, told me to 'get my hair cut'. Which is the worst cuss I've had since in was in the pub with Hip Priest and someone in the toilet called me an 'office boy'.

I think I'll be getting my hair cut.

That reminds me of something incredible that happened to me in Aberdeen a couple of years ago. I was walking through the centre of town on my way to a hair-cut appointment and at one point I was walking down the road opposite a bus station. Behind the bus station was a small posse of teenage school girls. As I walked past, one of them shrieked across the road "GET YOUR HAIR CUT!" She was loud enough to hear above my iPod so I gave an embarrassed smiled and continued walking.

Half an hour later, after having my hair cut, I walked back past the same spot. The aforementioned hecklers were still there.

I just had my hair cut a couple days ago. It feels really good to have some of the shagginess off, so I say do it.

I kept my long hair for way too long, and when I finally chopped it off I wished I had done it years earlier. Maintaining a short haircut can be crap, so I learned to do it myself, which rules. Go for it.
