Dude has one that he says is in new condition. He wants $250 for it but doesn't know what kind of speaker is in it -- he's not nerdy. Shame. If I check it out and it's an EVM 15L inside is $250 a good price? Also, did these cabs come stock with the EVM 15L? Do I have to worry about checking? Is it easy to see the back of the actual speaker mounted inside on this model/type of cab?

They came stock with all the ones I have seen, but there are 200 watt and 400 watt versions I believe.

If you unscrew the back panel, you can see pretty easily.

you can find evm's for relatively cheap sometimes, and if not, I have a feeling that other 15's will sound great in this cab.

back panel? neither of my mesa 1x15" cabs have a removable back that I ever saw. they're front-loading, so to see the speaker you have to unscrew the speaker and take it out. not a big deal.

Get it. Even if just for the driver.

Yeah, the driver alone is probably worth a good $200, give or take. A new replacement is about that much. The vintage speaker that's in there, if it doesn't have a rubbing voicecoil or anything, is worth as much for sure.
